JOIN THE INTERPRETIVE staff of the High Park Nature Centre to explore a different natural history theme each week and create nature crafts that are fun for the whole family to make. Please remember to wear sturdy footwear for trail walking. Strollers are not easy to use on the trails, so please bring an alternative. This week's theme is Fairyland. Drift off to Fairyland as you learn about fairy lore and search the trails of High Park for fairy food. Build your own fairy house and then go on a tour of "Fairy Village". Cost is $2 per person. Meet at 1 p.m. at the High Park Nature Centre, located on the eastern perimeter of High Park at 430 Parkside Dr. (one set of lights south of the Bloor/Keele intersection). Street parking only. The program will run for two hours, from 1-3 p.m.

SORAUREN PARK FARMER'S MARKET runs Mondays, 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. until Oct. 26, at Sorauren Avenue and Wabash, rain or shine. Organized by West End Food Co-operative, it features organic produce from local farms, food from local businesses and an emphasis on educating people about food awareness.
