BRIEFS

Enjoy a film festival on the TTC

Mark your calendars Sept. 5 to 12 for the Toronto Urban Film Festival.

The Film Festival for Commuters is an eight-day long public festival on the TTC.

The only one of its kind in North America, the festival features a different urban-themed program of one-minute films daily.

The festival runs concurrent with the Toronto International Film Festival and offers an accessible creative experience to the more than one million people who ride the TTC each day.

This year, the Top 3 films of the festival will be selected by guest judge Mark McKinney (Saturday Night Live, Kids in the Hall, Brain Candy). The final day of TUFF is programmed based on votes from the audience.

Visit www.torontourbanfilmfestival.com or the TUFF Facebook Fan Page at www.facebook.com for details.
